Spring 2022 Event Theme: Naomi and Ruth: Loyalty Among Women
                             Speaker: Rev. Christina St. Clair

What is Lantern Fellowship?
Planned in the spring and fall each year by women of the Heartland Conference of the United Church of Christ, Lantern Fellowship is a time when women of all generations come together to enjoy faith, fun, and friends. Our oasis of Templed Hills is tucked into the peaceful beauty of wooded hills and trails where the spirit can find renewal. The planning team hopes you will invite a few friends and loved ones to share in the wonderful experience of the Lantern Fellow-ship.

Spring 2022 Program:
Naomi and Ruth were Biblical examples of women from different times and different countries who through their strength, wisdom, and friendship teach us all about God's enduring love. We will explore their story and have opportunities to listen deeply and prayerfully, reflect and share our stories to increase our awareness of the importance of women and build community.
Each registration will include a copy of Rev. St. Clair’s book: Naomi and Ruth: Loyalty Among Women.

Keynote Speaker:
Reverend Christina St. Clair has written and published articles, essays, and many novels. She has an M.A. in pastoral ministry and is trained in spiritual direction. She has developed and led many spirituality groups and has pastored two mainstream Protestant churches. She is currently a supply preacher for First
Congregational U.C.C., in Huntington, West Virginia. Writing, spirituality, and ministry come together in her latest novel: Naomi and Ruth: Loyalty Among Women.

Weekend Activities:
In addition to the program, there will be time to explore Templed Hills Camp, to meet with Outdoor Ministry staff, to shop at The Market Path fair trade store, to get crafty doing art projects, and to have lots of fun and fellowship with friends, new and old!

Lodging:
We endeavor to accommodate differently-abled participants. Please include preferences on the registration form. Final lodging decisions are made by the steering committee.

Fee:
The weekend is $135 per person; $100 for first-time attendees. Refer a friend, and save $10 on your next Lantern weekend. If cost is a concern, please contact us about the Callie Budd Scholarship Fund

Covid-19 Safety Measures:
All attendees must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19. Please have your vaccination information handy when you register.

Please also bring proof of your vaccinations to camp. Masks are expected while indoors.
