Fall 2022 Event Theme: Let's Heart if for the Ladies: Jesus' Phenomenal Female Kinfolk
                             Speaker: Rev. Dr. Imani Jones

What is Lantern Fellowship?
Planned in the spring and fall each year by women of the Heartland Conference of the United Church of Christ, Lantern Fellowship is a time when women of all generations come together to enjoy faith, fun, and friends. Our oasis of Templed Hills is tucked into the peaceful beauty of wooded hills and trails where the spirit can find renewal. The planning team hopes you will invite a few friends and loved ones to share in the wonderful experience of the Lantern Fellowship.

Fall 2022 Program:
Jesus came from a lineage of phenomenal women who each occupied significant roles in their communities. These women transformed people's lives in powerful ways. Yet, their stories are often overlooked and their impact is largely unacknowledged. We will take time this weekend to explore the lives of those women, and consider the ways in which God's radical love and inclusivity is extended to them and us, regardless of gender and societal expectations or limitations.

Keynote Speaker:

Rev. Dr. Imani Jones is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Rev. Jones is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Princeton Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Divinity, and Master of Theology degrees, and has a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Ecumenical Theological Seminary. Currently, rev. Jones is the Director of the Chaplaincy department at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Jones has a particular focus on the integration of African American voices in Clinical Pastoral Education curriculum development. She is a Board Certified Chaplain within the Association of Professional Chaplains and a Certified Educator in the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. Rev.
