This session is full for new families.
Please register on the waiting list. If a space becomes available we will fill it on a first come first served basis from the waiting list.
If you need to add another adult or child in the same room with your group that is already registered, please contact jill@heartlanducc.org.
This half-week session gives you and your grandchild/child some extra time to explore your faith in Christian community in the natural beauty of our camp. Share your faith through Bible lessons, songs, games, easy nature explorations, swimming, and campfires. We discover God’s power and wonder and our own unique place in God’s creation. Ensure that a passionate faith continues in your family for generations to come!
This session is recommended for children 4-12 years old, who are accompanied by an adult.
Registration information:
Please note:
- Rev. Mark and Margee Frey will be directing both sessions of Grands and Family in 2022.
- We are looking for people interested in directing a Grands and Family session in 2023 to volunteer to "shadow/assist" Rev. Mark and Margee in 2022. Please let Rev. Mark, Margee, or Jill Frey know if you are interested.
- Recruit a new camper to register before May 1st and list you as the "recruiter" to receive $25 credit for your camp. The new camper you recruit also gets a $25 credit.
- Grandparents registering children for whom they are not the legal guardian should skip the consent forms during registration. Parents/legal guardians will fill that out prior to camp.
- To simplify the registration process today, additional Health information will be required prior to camp. Watch emails for more information and a link to the form.
- All participants who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination are highly encouraged to be up to date with vaccination before camp (initial series and all recommended boosters). We also anticipate that we will be testing everyone upon arrival. Other COVID-19 protocols will be determined closer to summer and based on CDC recommendations for resident camps and the new CDC red/yellow/green county guidelines based on the majority of our participants' counties.
