Have you ever dreamed of going to a summer camp that was just for Queer and Allied youth? Well, Camp ‘Out’ is exactly what you have been dreaming of! Camp ‘Out’ is an intentionally LGBTQIA affirming camp where youth will come together to learn about themselves, each other, and experience the love of Christ in community while having fun, exploring creation, and making lifelong friendships. Camp ‘Out” will be hosted simultaneously with MMADD Camp and campers will be able to share time together in activities, meals, and worship. Come and experience the love and affirmations of Christ at Camp ‘Out”

Registration information

Please note:

  • Recruit a new camper to register before May 1st and list you as the "recruiter" to receive $25 credit for your camp. The new camper you recruit also gets a $25 credit.
  • To simplify the registration process today, additional health information will be required prior to camp. Watch emails for more information and a link to the form.
  • All participants who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination are highly encouraged to be up to date with vaccination before camp (initial series and all recommended boosters). We also anticipate that we will be testing everyone upon arrival.  Other COVID-19 protocols will be determined closer to summer and based on CDC recommendations for resident camps and the new CDC red/yellow/green county guidelines based on the majority of our participants' counties.
  • This event is for campers. Volunteers should contact the Camp Director for the link to register. 

     

Cost
$500.00 per Participant
Cancellation Policy
Balance must be paid by May 15, or paid in full if registration is made after May 15. If a local congregation is paying a portion of the fee, their payment in check form must be sent to the Heartland Conference by May 1st. Or they may purchase a gift card and give it to the camper to use for payment at any time. Deposit is non-refundable Exceptions: If camper gets sick with symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to COVID-19 and is quarantined at time of camp. If we cancel a camp session.
